A four-colour offset press, working. Scroll to follow a sheet from the feeder, through cyan, magenta, yellow and black, to the delivery pile.
Feeder
Sheets are lifted one at a time from the pile and fed into the press square, so every copy lands in the same place.
Plate and blanket
Rollers spread the ink into a thin, even film on the plate. The plate passes the image to a rubber blanket, which prints it onto the paper. That offset step gives the process its name.
Four inks
Full colour is built from cyan, magenta, yellow and black, laid down one after another, each at its own screen angle, until the whole picture appears.
Delivery
Printed sheets stack at the delivery end, ready to be cut, folded, laminated, numbered or bound.

Which paper weight?
Paper weight is measured in gsm, grams per square metre. Heavier feels thicker and more premium. A rough guide:

What decides the price?
The item, size, paper, number of colours, finishing and quantity. With offset printing, most of the cost is in preparing the plates, so the price per copy drops as the quantity grows. That is why your quotation shows one price for each quantity you ask about.
Is offset right for a small number of copies?
Offset suits runs of a few hundred copies and up, where the plate cost is spread over many sheets. If you only need a handful, ask us first and we will tell you whether it makes sense.
What files should I send?
A print-ready PDF at the finished size, with photos in their original quality. If you only have a draft or a sample, send it on WhatsApp anyway and we will tell you what is needed.
How long does a job take?
Orders are delivered within 7 working days of approving the quotation and paying the advance.
How do I pay?
50% when you approve the quotation, and the balance when the order is delivered.
